This calculator allows you to use brackets and infix notation to perform trigonometric, logorithmic, and hyperbolic calculations (including base 10, base 2, and natural). It also offers a “paper trail” that retains the history of your mathematical session (which can be ported over to the Clipboard for easy printing). This function can be toggled off for a more compact appearance.

Sometimes the best way to keep people from prying into your personal folders is to keep their existence secret from the get go. That’s easy to do with Free Hide Folders. The program lets you make any folder (and all its subfolders and other contents) completely invisible with a just a little pointing and clicking. (And no, it doesn’t just use the folder’s hidden attribute.) The program is password protected so you’re safe even if the bad guys know you’re using the product.

One of the best games of the olden days was Worms, which really wasn’t about worms unless the worms you know are capable of calculating trajectories and elevating cannons to try to take each other out. Scorched 3D is the ultimate extension of Worms. You’re still lobbing shots at each other, but Scorched has full-color 3D that extends to the rippling ocean waves and the gently falling snow. Full camera
movement, zoom, and rotation let you scope out the enemy and catch all the action.
